Palm Kernel Shells
Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) is a renewable biofuel made up of the hard shells of palm kernel nut. In the palm oil milling process,palm kernel nuts are separated from the fibruos palm pulp. The nuts are then cracked to extract the kernels for subsequent oil extraction while the shells are separated from the main processing line.
